Machinist needed for custom metalworking shop.

Full time work with overtime - up to 45 hours per week. Day shift only.  Training is supplied.

Johnson Hydraulics is small, family owned and operated, and has been in business for more than 40 years.

This is a permanent position with a long-term company.

NOTE: This is not assembly line type work. We are a deadline oriented custom shop so every job requires a different process.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Setup and operation for bridgeport, radial drill, horizontal mills

Quality Control and Part Checking

Custom Part Work

candidates will have:

Own tools (basic mechanic's set at minimum) and reliable transportation.

Experience in manufacturing and metalworking

Excellent attendance and availability to work chosen shift.

Communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and human resources

Ability to perform required machining mathematics, example: feeds and speeds, layouts, centers

Fork lift experience

Familiarity or direct experience with the machines listed in job duties

Overhead crane experience
