Coating Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Torrance, CA
Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay: $22.00/hour

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Coating Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering opportunities for growth, skill development, and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow customer specifications and requirements as outlined on the route sheet.
• Accurately measure and apply coatings in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve coating issues, including shifting and patching.
• Perform test runs for new coating designs, ensuring uniformity and proper calibration.
• Maintain, repair, and test coating chambers to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance on coating equipment.
• Identify nonconforming products and promptly report to management.
• Follow priorities and instructions provided by supervisors.
• Learn and implement updated procedures for new or modified coatings.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
• Clean and foil machines as required.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and flexibility for overtime when needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with unloading parts from chambers and preparing them for Q.C. inspection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including machines, tunnels, and measurement equipment.
• Mentor trainees and ensure proper procedures are consistently followed.
• Support cross-department efficiency to meet customer deadlines.
• Care for tooling and equipment used in daily operations.
• Keep spare parts and supply areas organized and clean.
• Communicate proactively with management or trainers regarding unfamiliar tasks.

• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.
