Machine Operator
Location: Provo, UT
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17 – $20 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations in Provo, UT. This role is responsible for operating automated equipment by selecting the appropriate approved program settings, loading materials, performing quality checks, and maintaining machine efficiency throughout the shift.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy, and productivity are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Select the correct approved machine program to produce parts (no program editing permitted)
- Load and unload materials according to standard operating procedures
- Verify that required weight ratings are properly stamped prior to machining
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts before sending them down the production line
- Maintain consistent machine operation and minimize downtime
- Immediately notify the Production Supervisor of any issues related to programming, tooling, fixtures, or product quality
- Perform basic daily cleaning and upkeep of machinery and tooling
- Provide feedback on machine performance and efficiency opportunities
- Prioritize restarting the machine quickly if it becomes idle

Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing experience but not required
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to effectively communicate and receive feedback
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
