Machine Operator in Portland

One of the largest steel processing companies is adding a temp-to-hire Machine Operator to their team! They supply tempered, stretched, and slit sheet steel products.

This job is full-time, temporary-to-hire with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (weekends off!) and a great starting pay.

Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Stacking steel sheets at the end of the tempering/stretching process
• Banding sheets of steel with metal banding for shipping
• General warehouse cleanup

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Production or manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 6 months
• Ability to stand, bend, and crouch for 8+ hours a day
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Crane operating experience is a plus

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Pay: $22.00/Hour
