Description
Allstate Can, a division of The Ohio Art Company, is in need of Machine Operators for the first shift. This position will require work on-site 4 days a week, (Mon - Thurs 6am-4:30pm) with overtime potential on Fridays. Machine Operators will be responsible for the efficient operation of machinery used in the metal fabrication and manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare machines for operation by adjusting settings, loading materials, and ensuring all components are in place.
- Operate machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they function correctly.
- Ensure products are made to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance procedures on equipment to prevent breakdowns and uphold peak performance standards.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions through systematic troubleshooting and timely repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Successful candidates must display a willingness to work overtime hours as needed and possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a machine operator, with at least 2-3 years experience or similar role in manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
