Machine Operator / Packer Operator

·         $18 - $20/Hour to start

·         Manchester, NH

·         Monday – Friday

·         Second Shift, 3:30pm – 11:30pm

·         Third Shift, 11:30pm – 7:30am

Duties:

·         Safely remove completed sheets from the web press and handle them efficiently during production

·         Build and stack printed materials into consistent, organized logs based on job specifications

·         Prepare and stage pallets for movement to the bindery or next production area

·         Check printed output for quality issues such as misprints, defects, folding errors, trim problems, or stacking inconsistencies

·         Assist with basic equipment adjustments and troubleshooting on the packer box and related systems

·         Report any quality concerns or equipment issues to press operators or supervision promptly

·         Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times

·         Support press operators during setup, running, and cleanup activities

·         Follow all safety guidelines and production procedures

·         Cross-train on additional pressroom duties with the opportunity to grow within the department

Requirements:

·         Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn production equipment (experience a plus, not required)

·         Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

·         Team player who follows instructions, shows up reliably, and takes initiative

·         Capable of basic troubleshooting with training

·         Must not be colorblind

·         Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements

·         Lift, carry, stack, and move materials as needed

·         Bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift

·         Comfortable working around machinery and following all safety procedures
