Job DescriptionJob Description

Saw operation

·         Operate a CNC band saw to cut structural metal per cut sheet specifications

·         Maintain steel inventory in an orderly manor

·         Properly identify material such as sheet, plate, channel, tube, flat bar along with their thickness, width, and gauge

·         Ability to array of materials ranging from mild steel, aluminum, brass, tool steel, and cast iron

·         Basic math skills

·         Ability to lift to 50-70 pounds

·         Familiarity with a tape measure and read it within 1/16’’

·         Able to follow directions, ask questions, and learn from supervisor and co-workers

Shipping and Receiving
           
The shipping & receiving clerk will prepare orders for shipment, complete all paperwork, and ensure accuracy of the order to ship. Duties include but are not limited to, receiving in, storing,
and distributing all deliveries, as well as stock and restock items in their proper locations as needed.

·         Load and Unload delivery trucks using a fork truck

·         Put away material and components for storage/use

·         Review inbound shipments

·         Maintain orderly work area
