We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join our team in Madera, CA! This role is responsible for operating grinding machines and other production equipment to process materials in accordance with quality and production standards.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Madera, CA

Pay Rate: $18/HR

Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire (based on performance and business needs)

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift available

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinders to remove excess material and finish products to specifications
• Operate production machinery such as presses, extruders, or cutters as assigned
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, gauges, and visual checks
• Adjust machine settings and replace tooling as needed
• Monitor machine operations and report malfunctions or irregularities
• Complete required documentation and maintain production logs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Assist with general production duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role
• Familiarity with grinding, deburring, or machining processes
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to follow written instructions and production standards
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and safety
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and potential overtime as required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and physical activity
