Job Title: Direct Hire Extruder Machine Operator Opportunity

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused 3rd shift Extruder Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating polymer compounding and processing equipment to produce high-quality plastic materials according to established specifications. This position plays a key role in achieving daily production goals while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate extruders, mixers, and other compounding equipment to produce materials within specification
• Monitor machines and processes to maintain production efficiency and meet daily production targets
• Perform regular quality checks, testing, and inspections to ensure product standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Accurately complete production documentation and report equipment issues or quality concerns promptly

Required Competencies:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial manufacturing equipment
• Quality-focused with a commitment to meeting specifications
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience
• Experience in plastics, polymer processing, or compounding is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
• Basic computer skills for completing production documentation
