Position: Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 /hourly

Location: Lodi, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm 

Job Description: 

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating rubber production machinery and ensuring the proper molding and processing of rubber products. This role requires safely preparing and placing rubber molding plates into metal machines, monitoring production, and transferring completed products to the inspection and finishing area. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a hot and humid environment, have basic math skills, and be able to read a tape measurer to ensure accurate production standards.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and place rubber molding plates into metal production machines using proper safety procedures
• Monitor rubber molding production to ensure products are processed correctly
• Transfer completed rubber molding products using chains from the machine to the finalization and inspection area
• Inspect finished products and place completed items in the designated area
• Use hand tools to trim, shape, and drill rubber products as needed
• Troubleshoot machinery or production issues and notify management if problems arise
• Maintain safe and organized work areas throughout the shift
• Follow company safety procedures and production guidelines
• Work independently while providing updates to management regarding production issues or concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience
• Ability to work in hot and humid conditions
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to read and use a tape measurer accurately
• Experience using hand tools such as drills and trimming tools
• Ability to follow safety procedures and production instructions
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
