We are seeking a skilled Machine Operators to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical ability who can operate equipment efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

✓ Set up and operate carding machines and/or needle looms
✓ Monitor machine performance, production data, and product quality
✓ Make adjustments during operation to maintain peak efficiency and first-quality material
✓ Prepare fiber blends and binder systems for production
✓ Record production data in computer systems and daily logbooks
✓ Ensure master rolls are properly identified and staged
✓ Maintain a clean and safe work environment
✓ Assist with training team members and improving production processes

Qualifications

✓ Previous machine operator experience in manufacturing or textile production
✓ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
✓ Basic math and reading skills
✓ Comfortable using computer systems for production tracking
✓ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift
✓ Forklift experience or certification (clamp or carpet pole attachment a plus)
✓ High school diploma or equivalent required
