The Machine Operator plays a key role in maintaining efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This position involves operating and monitoring machinery, analyzing production results, and supporting process improvements to ensure consistent product quality and team safety.
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
  • Track and analyze production progress using departmental Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reports.
  • Identify and document production issues such as quality defects, yield losses, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Experience working with HMI
  • Audit and monitor cell manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Apply 3R (Right materials, Right quantity, Right position) and 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) principles to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Knowledge of Lock out/Tag out
  • Support safety initiatives and ensure team members receive proper training and risk prevention instruction.
  • Manage raw material usage and maintain accurate inventory for production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • MUST have High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular, punctual attendance required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and climbing stairs.
  • Willingness to work 8 to 12 hour shifts and up to 6–7 days per week as production demands.

Protective Equipment

  • Must wear company-provided safety shoes, safety glasses, and hat.
  • Company T-shirt provided.
