Position Summary: Performs fast paced work in mixing, molding and injection molding operations and routine recordkeeping duties under the general direction of the Supervisor or Group Leader, coupled with following/achieving manufacturing, safety, quality, and performance standards, while exceeding our customer’s expectations in a timely manner.Essential Functions:
- Knows and understands all safety requirements for the department.
- Person needs to be detail oriented for all work being completed.
- Ability to follow a daily production schedule under direction of supervisor.
- Able to perform job duties as needed within different work cells to meet the needs of daily production.
- Learn and run any necessary equipment to perform the task at hand.
- Identify the correct components that need to be pulled for manufacturing processes.
- Ability to perform all quality checks and detect any defects before moving products to next operator.
- Label all products being shipped out of the facility according to production orders.
- Completing tasks given within standard labor time.
- Clean area as needed during the work schedule and at the end of shift.
- Properly shut down equipment after all work has been completed and/or at the end of the shift.
- Follows and complies with written and verbal instructions.
- Uses various manual and powered material handling equipment as needed.
- Uses test and measuring equipment.
- May work with chemicals that are subject to special handling requirements. Hazardous & non-hazardous, both liquid and solid forms.
- Performs accurate record keeping functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position will require:
- Working overtime.
- Weekend work- Holidays as needed.
- Working rotating shifts.
- A 1-Hour MESP Test- ranking High or medium pass score to place
- Manually able to lift up to 50 pounds and 15 pounds above the shoulder.
- Performs bending, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs, squatting throughout shift.
Basic Qualifications: MUST HAVE
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum 6 months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
