Pay: $17.50Schedule: M-TH 5:30am-4pm, Fr 5:30am - 11am, Sat

Join the team as a Machine Operator II. If you have at least one year of manufacturing experience and want to take the next step in your production career, we want to hear from you. This role offers the opportunity to work with specialized rubber mixing equipment and mentor less experienced operators.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the mixing line for daily production, ensuring equipment is operating safely and correctly
• Ensure all raw materials are on hand and restock warehouse as needed
• Operate rubber mixing and processing machines
• Inspect and assist in correcting defective batches under supervisor guidance
• Clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized work area
• Complete production paperwork and assist in packaging and shipment prep
• Load and unload rubber from skids using forklifts, hoists, or cranes
• Follow all safety procedures and assist with maintenance as needed
• May train and support new or less experienced operators
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of directly related machine operation experience
• Manufacturing experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
• Strong problem-solving and basic math skills
• Must have experience with forklifts, hoists, and cranes
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing throughout shift
• Frequent bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and stair climbing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (and up to 75 lbs with assistance)
• Comfortable working in seasonal temperature extremes (hot summers, cold winters)
