What You Will Do

You will perform semi-skilled work operating various production equipment to manufacture and package high-quality materials. This role could operate a variety of equipment: extruders, unfolders, slitters, hose manufacturing, perforators, bag machine, winding/rewinding, reprocessing, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Set up machines based on production orders and operate equipment controls safely. Reviews work orders and follows written and oral instructions.
• Quality Control: Monitor material quality for defects, adjust machine parameters as needed, and prepare samples for checking.
• Packaging: Label, package, and wind/rewind finished products according to work orders.
• Safety First: Check safety stops prior to operation and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Material Handling: Obtain materials from inventory and load/unload rolls safely (<50 lbs).

We are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial machinery, or construction/carpentry is . Experience with film/paper rewinding is a plus, but food/bottling manufacturing or mechanic experience is also acceptable.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, or mechanical skills is highly valued.
• Digital Literacy: Ability to use computer systems (Microsoft Office or ERP systems) to look up work orders and formulations.
• Communication: Must be able to understand written/oral instructions and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to wear a respirator during machine setup.
