Position Overview

The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting production by troubleshooting process issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality through careful monitoring and data review. This position is ideal for individuals interested in hands-on work within a high-impact manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in operating the aluminum dip brazing process, a critical step in manufacturing aerospace-grade components
  • Operate and monitor equipment, including FANUC robots and Positech hoists (training provided)
  • Monitor salt bath chemical levels and perform routine weekly maintenance checks
  • Troubleshoot process issues during production to minimize downtime
  • Review production data to ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Produce and process parts according to daily production goals
  • Follow strict safety protocols and properly use required PPE (face shield, gloves, apron, etc.)
  • Participate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or related environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial processes
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and technical instructions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Comfortable working in environments involving heat and chemicals (PPE provided)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent weekend schedule
