Machine Operator

1st shift 7am-4pm

Job Description;

- Responsible for the conversion of raw material in the production room into finished product, as specified on the production order, while maintaining established guidelines for safety, quality, and productivity.

- Observe all safety regulations required in the Production Department.

- Responsible for the inspection and quality as well as the records for inspection.

- Load and unload material from stock to the proper machine.

- Set up machine to produce proper lengths and widths of finished product.

- Package finished product, as specified on the job order, to guarantee safety of the product during storage and shipment.

- Accurately record time, material, packaging, and other information required from the operator by the job order.

- Perform necessary maintenance to ensure operational and safety standards are met for each piece of equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness throughout the Production and Warehouse areas to ensure safety and professional standards.

- Demonstrate the ability to convert all types of raw material into finished product efficiently and in a safe manner with a high degree of accuracy.

- Maintain accurate inventory of both raw materials and finished goods.

- Assist in educating Machine Operator Trainees.

- Fully participate in and support the Quality System.

- The person in this position may perform additional functions as

required by Executive Management.

Requirements;

-Production experience

-Machine Operator experience

-Knowledge and Skills

* Basic understanding of manufacturing.

* Basic computer skills

*Must know how to use a ruler or caliper

*Math Skills

* Basic product knowledge as related to manufacturing

* Basic knowledge of measuring devices related to product inspection
