MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $22.70/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (3rd Shift)
    • Overtime: Candidates must be flexible and open to working weekend overtime as required to meet business needs.

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of equipment and the production of high-quality products. You will work within a team to ensure continuous operation, perform routine quality inspections, and assist with equipment troubleshooting.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate production lines, perform changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning/sanitizing of equipment.
  • Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and quality checks using 10x microscopes, calipers, or other gauges to ensure products meet strict specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and perform basic troubleshooting of equipment to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Documentation & Data: Maintain accurate records and logs; perform data entry using SAP and MES systems in accordance with GMP and FDA standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production rates and support continuous operation through breaks.

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or MES/SAP software is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical specifications in English.
  • Proficiency in basic math calculations.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Work Environment: Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area while adhering to all local and federal safety regulations.
