Job DescriptionJob Description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for handling warehouse inventory and performing physical and cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of the reported inventory. In addition, Inventory Clerk assist inventory control related special projects like inventory put away, replenishment, organization by utilizing tools such as forklifts, carts, pallet jacks, dollies, totes, computers, and handheld scan devices. They are responsible for meeting company standards for safety, inventory record accuracy and material handling, efficiency, and productivity while monitoring and counting warehouse inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cycle count inventory by different cycle counting type approaches like locations, ABC classification, collections, product types, zones, finished goods, parts, scheduled/on demand, etc.

2. Monitor and cycle count warehouse inventory to ensure inventory accuracy is above 99%

3. Assist in determining root causes on inventory and sales order discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.

4. Help locate or investigate misplaced or missing inventory using WMS technology.

5. Inventory replenishment using WMS and with MHE warehouse equipment.

6. Assist in inventory put away, consolidation and movements.

7. Keep all inventory locations organized and neat.

8. Other non-related inventory duties may be assigned
