Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMachine Operator: Freeport, IllinoisOur customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Machine Operators to work full-time on 3rd shift. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of various machinery, maintaining safety and quality standards, and contributing to a team-oriented environment to meet production goals. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Operate and maintain various machines, including conventional, special-purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines.
• Ensure the machine is running at the proper cycle time and verify the conformance of the finished workpiece to specifications.
• Set up and dismantle unit assembly and subassembly workstations as needed.
• Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for machining.
• Organize and prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines, maintaining quality and minimizing potential issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes, promote quality, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; one to three months related experience or training .
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
• Strong logical and problem-solving abilities for carrying out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift materials regularly throughout the shift.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and communicate effectively with others.

Pay for Machine Operator: Starting at $17/hour. Machine Operator Benefits:
