PRODUCTION OPERATOR

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position involves daily production, staging steel and bundles for upcoming runs, loading and clearing units, visual and physical inspection of steel , profile, gauge, and quality, control of output profiling sections with work drawings.

DUTIES:

• Operate overhead crane to load and unload steel coils
• Work safely, following all safety procedures
• Create list orders for production
• Stage bundles for upcoming run
• Loading and clearing units
• Ensures that any task performed within the work cell is completed in accordance with the written Standard Working Operating Procedure(s) for that task.
• Contributes to an ongoing culture of cleanliness and order within the workstation/cell.
• Prepare and make chemical recipes for the production of insulated foam.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during operations.
• Interpret and understand technical specifications, instructions, and measurements.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and timelines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High-school Diploma or equivalent.
• Well-organized
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Mechanically inclined.
• Able to monitor proper functioning of equipment
• Experience handling hand and power tools
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Able to work in team, and independently

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• You will be working in a brand new, natural light filled, State-of-the-Art Facility in Walker Michigan.
• Does get warm in the summer months
