Machine Operator
A Machine Operator is responsible for running the various manufacturing lines/process. Some
machine operators will be responsible for one function of the job, while others will be responsible for a variety of process steps, which utilizes different equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Measure and inspect products with precision tools to ensure that certain products meet
pre-determined quality and cosmetic standards
• Track the number of units that are scrapped due to various errors
• Consistently meet production quotas
• Keeping one’s work area safe and clean
Requirements
• Be able to work in an environment where teamwork is important
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Primarily do work on their feet while using tools to perform repetitive actions for an 8-
10-hour shift
• Use of basic tools
• Ability to work with hot plastics
• Ability to perform other duties, as required
