Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Company in the Richmond, VA area, is looking for Machine Operators to join their team! 
Machine Operator Job Summary:

• Pay: $18 - $25 an hour depending on experience
• Shift: 2nd Shift 3pm – 1130pm

A family-owned manufacturer in the Midlothian, VA area, is seeking hard-working and mechanically minded people to join our Production Team. Equipment operator's set-up and run our metal forming equipment. These machines use high precision custom tooling for heat exchanger manufacturing. We operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent change overs. 

Machine Operator Responsibilities: 
 

• Experience with CNC, Fin Punch Press and/or Expander  
• Operate metal working equipment to consistently and efficiently to produce quality parts
• Use blueprints and router information to set-up tooling and machines accurately 
• Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks
• As an active team member in the area, participate in continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, productivity and tooling life
• Safely use electric, pneumatic, floor and hand tools 
• ID and tag unsafe equipment 

Machine Operator Qualifications: 
 

• Ability to work 2nd shift 
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Successful experience working with mechanical equipment
• Background in hands on troubleshooting with machinery
• Ability to use measuring devices (calipers, tape measures, etc.)
• Team player interested in improving the overall performance of the equipment and the team
• Experience with CNC, Fin Punch Press and/or Expander  
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and stoop and/or bend frequently 
• Able to follow directions 
• Able to interpret drawings, routers and special notes once trained
