Machine Operator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBadger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for a full-time opportunity based in Appleton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working within a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Primary Duties:

• Infeed pallet components into a machine and watch for quality
• Repair any quality issues and conduct weekly preventative maintenance on machines
• Build pallets according to the customer’s requirements
• Record production times and pallet counts throughout the day and turn sheet into the production manager after each shift
• Set up an assigned machine in between each run according to the kiosk and to the customer needs
• Communicate with maintenance and supervisor of any machine issues
• Maintain and cleanup work area during and at the end of each shift

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, perform basic math computation, and read a tape measure
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs., and must be able to push and pull objects that are 75 pounds or heavier
• Must be able to walk, bend and twist for long periods of time throughout the day
• Previous construction experience or familiarity with basic hand tools
