Machine Maintenance Technician in Franklin

The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, adjusting, and repairing production equipment and special purpose machines to ensure optimal performance. This role demands hands-on mechanical skills, the use of various tools, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. The technician works closely with the head mechanic to approve repair plans and maintain safe and effective machinery operation.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts
• Test malfunctioning machinery, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs with the head mechanic
• Install and test electrical components to ensure proper functioning
• Dismantle equipment using hoists, cranes, and tools to access and remove defective parts
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to maintain proper operation
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machine maintenance
