Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMachine Maintenance Mechanic for small, family-owned company in Rome, NY.
Hours: 5:30AM-2:00PM, or 7:00AM-3:30PMPay: $25/hr.
The Machine Mechanic must be experienced with:- Tool & Die making equipment including digital & standard mills, surface grinder, and metal lathes- Motors & Electrical Systems - electrically inclined/knowledgeable- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to determine repairs needed, make & install parts, and return the machine to operation.- Air & pneumatic systems- Knowledge of tool steel & heat treating- Ability to work on machine with tight tolerances of as little as .001 to .003- 4-slide & 6-slide product machines, coining machines, and presses- Programming for CNC wire forming machines
Qualifications:- MUST have Tool & Die machine experience to be considered- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment- Welding experience is a PLUS- Pre-Employment background check is required
