Title: Machine Maintenance Tech
Pay:$17–25/hr (Depending on Experience; mid to upper $20s possible for highly experienced candidates)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Summary of Duties
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on a weekly basis as indicated by operating manuals
- Observe, test, and assess the operation of machines to detect the cause of malfunction
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, diagrams, lubrication charts, operation manuals, and engineering specifications
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
- Repair, replace, adjust, and align machinery and equipment parts using tools such as screwdrivers, electrical test meters, wrenches, and hoists
- Clean and lubricate machine parts and maintain repair and maintenance logs
- Use catalogs to order replacement parts, or source alternatives if not available
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery parts as required
Education / Training / Experience / Skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Some technical school training
- Minimum 1 year forklift experience required
- Minimum 1 year maintenance assistant or maintenance experience required
- CNC maintenance experience , but candidates with industrial maintenance experience will also be considered
- Industrial maintenance could include working on cranes, large saws, presses, and related equipment in an industrial setting
- Electrical experience is a plus
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays to support production requirements
Physical Requirements
- Frequently handle and lift materials ranging from 5 to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Able to squat, bend, and stand on feet for long periods of time
