What You'll Do
Perform hardware and firmware integration of next Tesla industrial energy storage
Hands-on testing, debugging, and troubleshooting on product hardware and software
Design and implementing test infrastructure as buck setup or HIL platform to break down system level validation into sub-system level validation
Lead and own firmware feature validation, firmware regression, and firmware releases
Lead the test plan execution for new products with continuous feedback for new hardware revisions
Identify, escalate, and resolve issues with hardware and firmware during system bring up, utility performance, and grid contingency test
What You'll Bring
Degree in engineering related field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience
Hands-on experience with electrical and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product
2+ years of experience in firmware and software validation
Must be comfortable with hands-on lab work (including the use of scopes/logic analyzers, CAN tools, soldering irons, etc as needed to support integration)
Familiar with networking and digital communication protocols (JSON RPC, TCP/IP, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, etc.)
Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex HW/SW systems
Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail
: Low power electronics control design/test background and systems integration experience
: Experience with renewable energy products and/or electricity distribution systems
: Experience working with high power (50kW+) and/or high voltage (1kVDC, 480VAC) products

Expected Compensation $133,440 - $292,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
