We have an immediate position for a Lead Commercial Electronic Security Technician to travel for service and installation projects. Daily travel and some overnight travel is required, company vehicle provided. Pay is negotiable and will be based on experience.

As an Lead Electronic Security Installation Technician you will be responsible for installing security system components. You will be responsible for pulling cable and terminating. You will terminate and run wire. You will install access control for doors, install cameras, install and hang audio speakers and mount TV's on new/existing commercial sites. Knowledge of these processes are a must. Knowledge of access control and door hardware installation/service, structured cabling methods and standards are a must.

Required Experience

• Access Control Installation (Minimum 2 years)
• CCTV Installation (Minimum 2 years)
• Security Alarm Installation (Minimum 2 years)
• Low Voltage (Minimum 2 years)
• Electronic/Security Trouble Shooting (Minimum 2 years)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum 2 years experience performing similar duties, preferably in the security, cable TV, telephone service, electrical/low voltage wiring or home improvement industries.

• Current/Valid Driver’s License and safe driving skills
• Clean background, will have to pass a comprehensive criminal background check
• Responsible for pulling cable and terminating
• Responsible for installing access control, cameras and TV's
• Responsible for servicing and installing gates and gate systems
• Physical demands include: capable of sitting , standing, walking, or driving for long periods of time; bending, kneeling, crawling and stooping while working; work from high places such as roofs, ceilings, ladders and crawl spaces and other small areas; and safely move and lift materials and equipment weighing 50-80 lbs without assistance.
• Mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of structured cabling methods
• Proficiency with computer hardware components and software packages a plus
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Excellent Troubleshooting Skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
