As we expand, we are looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team and contribute to the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of our gate systems, with a focus on low-voltage electrical components.
Position Overview:
As a Low Voltage Technician at Tri State Gate, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low-voltage systems in our gate systems, including access controls, intercoms, security cameras, and other electronic components. The role will require a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail. You will work both independently and alongside our team to ensure that all gate and security systems are operating optimally.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain gate-related electrical systems including access controls, intercoms, cameras, and operators.

Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical circuits, wiring, and connections.

Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure systems are operating optimally.

Collaborate with the team to complete installations and address service requests.

Interpret and follow technical schematics and blueprints for installations and repairs.

Conduct system upgrades, ensuring compatibility with existing hardware.

Provide customers with system performance recommendations for increased security and reliability.

Keep accurate records of service calls, installations, and maintenance.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical equipment.

Assist with inventory management to ensure all required parts and tools are available for projects.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair components.

Familiarity with industry standards, safety codes, and best practices.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
Additional Details:

Position Type: Full-Time

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional overtime or on-call work)
