Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Low Voltage Superintendents (Traveling) in Cheyenne, WY for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States. 


Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $70,720 to $93,600 Per Year BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise throughout the Pre-Construction process.
  • Participate in the Constructability review.
  • Assist in the Pre-Construction schedule.
  • Oversees and schedules all technician manpower across assigned geographies.
  • Follows and administers union contract regarding lay-offs and recalls.
  • Maintain the process of having leads or foreman report daily timecards.
  • Work with PM on man loading scheduling, budget hours and materials staging.
  • Maintain daily site visits of projects within 2-hour drive from office.
  • Maintain bi-weekly site visits of projects within a 5-hour drive from office.
  • Maintain monthly site visits of projects outside of 5-hour drive of office.
  • Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the safety support personnel as a resource.
  • Report all safety incidents to VP Operations, PM, and safety personnel.
  • Understand project estimate and budget set-up.
  • Mentor and train other employees.
  • Manage, lead, and complete paperwork and process outlined in Field Career Progression program.
  • Manage all test results and finalize at the end of each project.
  • Participate in determining sequence and activity duration on schedules for proposed projects.
  • Forecast manpower allocation for future work.
  • Understand and communicate to all field personnel the goals regarding construction.
  • Maintains positive relationships with the client and project team throughout the project(s).

Qualifications:

  • 10 plus years related experience or equivalent role
  • OHSA 30 certification
  • Must meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
  • Must meet all requirements to be properly badged and able to meet all client requirements to access the jobsite.
  • Familiar with construction management software as needed.
  • AutoCAD, a plus for use with scheduling, spreadsheets, and cost control
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
  • Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
  • Good client management and goodwill building ability.
  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
  • Capacity to handle pressure.
  • Be willing to travel extensively across multiple sites.
  • Strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure situations.
  • Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards  
  • Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises  
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.  
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending  
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.  
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,720 to $93,600 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
