A technology and construction services provider is hiring a Sr. Low Voltage Project Manager to oversee projects across voice/data/security and electrical operations. This role is ideal for individuals experienced with single-site or multi-site project execution who can lead teams, manage timelines, and ensure project quality from start to finish.
This is a hybrid role - three days in-office, two days remote based on management discretion. Long-term employment opportunity for motivated candidates who can work independently and solve challenges in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily project operations through all five phases of the project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Assign resources, order materials, and oversee quality and safety audits
- Create bid sheets, proposals, and contractual documentation
- Handle scheduling, billing, and financial forecasting
- Maintain accurate project files and reporting
- Support logistics, site walks, surveys, and customer training
- Represent the company in client meetings and communications
- Coordinate with internal departments, field technicians, sales, and upper management
- Ensure projects meet internal and external safety standards
- Lead and delegate tasks within cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 2+ years of project management experience
- College degree but not required
- Industry experience in CAT5, fiber, structured cabling, IT, telecommunications, or construction is a plus
- Ability to read engineered drawings, specs, and construction take-offs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and spreadsheets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site work
