We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Low Voltage Cable Lead Installer/ Technician to join our team in Charlotte/Sarasota/Manatee County. This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology. You will lead projects installing various types of cabling systems, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will need to have a strong understanding and knowledge of low voltage technology, skilled project leadership skills, and a firm obligation to quality. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and management of low voltage systems, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities Skills:
- Terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat 6/6A and fiber optic cabling systems.
- Knowledge of fusion splicing, and operating test equipment (cable certifier, OTDR, etc.).
- Read and understand blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings.
- Install TVs, and Audio/Video equipment (speakers, displays) helpful but not required.
- Understanding of structured cabling and BICSI standards.
- Design and build support structure pathways (cable tray, J-hooks, conduit).
- Rack and stack network equipment, patch panels, and switches.
- Terminate jacks, faceplates, and patch panels.
- Perform site surveys and validate project scope.
- Document work performed: create as-builts, update redlines, and completer daily/close out reports.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians and coordinate and supervise small teams as needed.
