Job Description: Low-Voltage/Special Systems Field Supervisor


CamNet Inc. is looking for self- motivated people with a positive attitude to join our company. They must be able to promote the company, co-workers, clients, and partners.A field supervisor prepares and plans the field staff for the scheduled work, assigns tasks, sets deadlines, allocates resources, monitors progress, and ensures clear communication with the team. Additionally, they provide necessary tools, equipment, and training. Field supervisors serve as the main contact between overall project and operations management and field staff.

  • Manage team of field staff to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Plans project delivery with Project Coordinator and Estimator sign-off.
  • Delegating tasks, managing employees, resolving conflict.
  • Providing sound guidance and ongoing support.
  • Work with Project Coordinator on material orders.
  • Enforce workplace safety protocols and adherence to all regulations.
  • Conduct performance evaluation of field staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive work environment.
  • Raises and concerns regarding field staff and/or project progress.
  • Identified risks associated with projects and relays them to the Project Coordinator.
  • Communicate daily progress to Project Coordinator.
  • Strong communication skills for internal knowledge transfer as well as in the field and with clients, end users, owners, and contractors.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Low-Voltage systems (Security Systems, Intercom & Clock Systems, Audio/Video Systems).
  • Experience working in a field supervisor role.
  • BICSI certified.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate and encourage efficient practices and progress toward the objectives.
  • Problem-solving skills to effectively and swiftly find solutions to address issues that hinder performance and/or safety.
  • Accurate and effective communication ensuring clear understanding of tasks, relay feedback, and time reporting of operational statuses.
  • Strong decision-making skills for accurate assessment and course of action corrections.
  • Valid Drivers License with acceptable record.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Some travel throughout the state.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Reliable vehicle and Valid drivers license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and Drivers License (MVR) check.
  • PPE a plus.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

  • Some Responsibilities of the Position:
  • For this position, we are looking for a candidate with experience as a Low-Voltage/IT Special Systems Field Supervisor. You will need to be able to read and interpret site plans, work efficiently with the site crews, and represent CamNet well onsite. Project size and scope varies considerably and requires a mix of IT and low voltage skills such as pulling cable, fiber optics, installing cable racks and equipment, wireless access points, cameras, Access Control equipment, etc. (Intrusion systems a plus).
  • Responsibilities range from administrative duties to hands-on oversight.
