Location: Tucson International Airport – Tucson, AZ
Project Duration: 3–4 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Low Voltage / DAS Technicians for a 3–4 month project at the Tucson International Airport. Candidates should have hands-on experience with DAS system installation, including coaxial and fiber optic cabling, DRAN systems, and radio equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test coax and fiber optic cables per project specifications.
- Support installation and commissioning of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and DRAN equipment.
- Mount and configure remote radio heads (RRHs), antennas, and associated hardware.
- Perform signal testing and troubleshooting using appropriate tools (e.g., PIM, sweep testing).
- Follow safety guidelines and airport security protocols at all times.
- Work effectively with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with coax, fiber, and DAS installations.
- Familiarity with DRAN and radio system setup.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scopes of work.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to pass airport background/security checks.
- Must have appropriate PPE and basic hand tools.
- OSHA 10 or higher .
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend or after-hours work depending on project needs.
