Low Latency Infrastructure Engineer:

Role Overview:

As a Low Latency Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of all technological innovation, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of ultra-low latency electronic trading systems. Your responsibilities will encompass advanced troubleshooting, performance analysis, automation, and network optimization.

Core Duties:

• Perform advanced troubleshooting across various system components, including the application stack, server hardware, Linux OS, network devices, and inter-site network communications.

• Analyze and identify areas of potential performance improvement to optimize the overall system performance of ultra-low latency electronic trading systems on prem.

• Expand end-to-end monitoring and alerting systems to enhance overall system reliability and availability.

• Drive automation of routine administration tasks, system deployments, and trading software stack upgrades.

• Provide analysis and recommendations for global scalability.

• Collaborate in global trading site collocation (IAC) planning and optimization efforts.

• Participate in planning and implementation of advanced networking technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in managing high-performance arenas.

• Profound expertise in Linux system tuning/optimization and low latency networking.

• Familiarity with network architecture, protocols, Linux configuration, timing infrastructure, and collocation facility infrastructure (IAC).

• Demonstrated proficiency in developing Python applications for analysis and automation.

• Previous experience working with electronic trading systems and knowledge of exchange interactions and messaging is highly advantageous.
