Logistics Technician

Key
Responsibilities:

• Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against
  purchase orders and invoices.

• Prepare and package items for shipment ensuring proper
  labeling and documentation.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases
  using ERP or warehouse systems.

• Organize and store materials in designated locations
  following safety and organizational guidelines.

• Assist with loading and unloading
  of goods using forklifts pallet jacks or other equipment.

• Conduct regular inventory counts
  and report discrepancies.

• Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal departments
  to meet delivery timelines.

• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance
  needs.

• Comply with health
  safety and environmental regulations and company
  policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associates degree in logistics or related field is a
  plus.

• 12 years of
  experience in a warehouse logistics or shipping/receiving
  role.

• Basic computer
  skills; experience with inventory software or ERP systems
  preferred.

• Ability to
  lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (forklift
  certification is a plus).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational
  skills.

• Good
  communication and teamwork abilities.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced physical
  environment.

Preferred
Qualifications:

• Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation
  (domestic and international).

• Knowledge of hazardous material handling (if
  applicable).

• Experience
  with lean logistics or continuous improvement
  initiatives.
