POSITION OVERVIEW
DEFTEC Corporation is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Specialist for a position supporting Acquisition, Contracts and Logistics Directorate at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform data collection, processing, and analysis in support of DTRA management systems, including analyses of quantitative and qualitative survey data.
- Edit and produce final copies of formal correspondence, correspondence summaries, briefings, reports, and a wide variety of other analytical, process flow, narrative, tabular, and statistical documents and financial spreadsheets.
- Review documents for official signature, coordination or concurrence, accuracy and completeness, and conformance with style, format, or procedural requirements and guidelines.
- Establish and maintain office files and databases, including electronic data files architecture consistent with industry standard file storage/structure methodologies.
- Assist in preparing Interagency meetings or conferences and setting up teleconferences and videoconferences.
- Provide logistics support for Department and Division infrastructure requirements.
- Assist with human resources support for a civilian and military workforce. Provide support in tracking human resource actions and activities related to recruitment, retention and awards programs.
- Perform writing, editorial, and layout services; graphic design; high-resolution scanning; and all other steps necessary to provide final digital output for brochures or other publications.
- Interface with other support services including internal and external organizational POCs.
- Support in-processing FOIA requests and respond to external (e.g., DoD IG and GAO) reports.
- Support legislative analysis, tracking, and support to facilitate DTRA's programmatic activities.
- Review and edit transcripts, prepare various briefing materials and books, and develop reports and analytical tools including side-by-side comparisons and summary documents.
- Assist and facilitate program offices in the development of strategic plans, business plans, and long-term planning documents with activities including facilitating group meetings, meeting preparations, providing drafts of meeting minutes, road- mapping activities, and desktop publishing.
- Assist in the management of office space occupancy, property accountability, and facility logistics. Provide support to ensure the environment is safe, secure, and conducive to productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S.
- Possess Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional Government-agency, military, or corporate experience providing action officer support
- Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability.
- Experience with platforms such as the DTS, DAI civilian timecard system, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience in the ability and skills to manage multiple projects, keep track of, or adjust existing tasks while identifying new tasks and expectations as projects evolve.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills geared towards executives.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and articulate correspondence with a focus on quality control and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills that foster teamwork and create positive relationships with staff and principals.
- Working knowledge of coordination requirements for the successful preparation and approval of reports, briefings, memoranda, and presentations.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, plan, problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced and strategic environment under minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with task management platforms, such as ETMS2, TMT, or CATMS.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g., TEAMS, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).
