Job Description
Job Title: Logistics Strategic Projects Implementation Program Manager\n\nLocation: Remote \n\nContract: Until August 2026 \n\nHours: 40 hours per week\n\nRates: Competitive \n\nThe role:\n\nSRG are looking for a logistics strategic project implementation PM to join an exciting new venture for two existing companies. As the Logistics Strategic Projects Implementation Program Manager, you will be overseeing and co-ordinating the implementation of the SAP system separation as well as the operational separation of the Joint Venture and Logistics operation across impacted sites. You will ensure alignment between the different sites, coordinate across the cross-functional workstreams of Supply Chain and DTS for both warehousing and transportation, and act as the single point of contact for stakeholder management.\n\nYou will be a skilled project manager, strategic thinker, and problem solver.
You will have exceptional communication skills, enabling you to influence leaders and project members irrespective of reporting lines and to act as strong advocate for standardisation. This project has a very tight timeline, therefore the ability to meet timelines is key, as well as an affinity for taking smart risks and a focus on mitigation planning.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nEngage and align a cross-functional project team with team members from DTS (Digital Technology Services), Logistics Central Support and site Logistics SMEs from both within the company and our 3rd party partners.\nIdentify change management risks/opportunities throughout the program life cycle.\nProvide stakeholder management within the Logistics Team and work closely with the Logistics PMO\nSupport the shaping, steering, and implementing of a consistent approach and message with a specific focus on balancing business continuity with the need for meeting wider project deadlines.\nUnderstand trade-offs and facilitate decision making process with cross-functional teams and leadership. \nEnsure milestones are tracked and updated both in the Targetprocess tool as well as any offline tool the teams might be using for more detailed action tracking \n\nWhat we'll need from you:\n\nProject management experience with the ability to scope projects, manage, teams, deliver results against set expectations, timelines, and budgets.
\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience. \nAbility to lead in a highly matrixed organization, driving collaboration across businesses and functions while influencing without authority \nSAP/EWM knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP principles required for effective project and risk management. Previous system implementation experience highly desirable\nExposure to warehouse operation and warehouse management systems as well as transport operations and transport management systems.
