Logistics Specialist - Houston, TX

$55,000 - $60,000



We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join a high-performing logistics and supply-chain team in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, coordinate shipments and inventory flows, liaise with carriers and vendors, and help optimise end-to-end logistics operations.



Key Responsibilities:



Manage inbound and outbound freight scheduling, tracking and delivery performance.



Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with warehouses and carriers, and ensure on-time fulfilment.



Work closely with internal teams (sales, customer service, operations) and external partners (3PLs, trucking, cold-storage) to meet service level targets.



Resolve logistics exceptions or delays and implement corrective measures.



Maintain accurate documentation (bills of lading, export/import files, carrier contracts) and support process improvements.



Qualifications:



2+ years of logistics/co-ordination experience.



Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.



Able to prioritise, adapt to changing demands and maintain a high attention to detail.



Bachelor's degree is a plus (or equivalent, relevant experience).



Compensation & Benefits:
