Job Description:

• Pay: $23–$26/hr to start
• Duration: 2-month assignment to start, with possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and budget
• Shift: Monday–Friday, onsite
  • 1st Shift: training for 1–2 weeks from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: training for 1–2 weeks  from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
  • After training, shifts will be 1st shift (starting between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM) or 2nd shift (starting between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM), based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily task priorities and team workloads; coordinate with Logistics Specialists to optimize dock schedules, provide backup support, and communicate urgent shipments across shifts and departments
• Conduct inventory audits, support quality control processes, lead safety and quality audits (Gembas, 5S), maintain standard work documentation, and generate reports using SAP, MES, Excel, Ryder, and Dock Scheduler
• Coach and train team members, operate PIT equipment, escalate safety and delivery issues to leadership, and support process improvement initiatives including RCCA and 5S events

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 1 year of inventory control or shipping experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (PIT) required
• SAP experience
• Experience with 5S audits
• Background in Process and/or Transportation management
