We are seeking an Logistics Specialist with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs at Blount Island Command (BICmd).
Location:
- This position is located in Jacksonville, FL, with potential for CONUS/OCONUS travel in support of Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide logistics information system support, data validation, and quality assurance to ensure accurate integration of MCPIC, ICODES, iPRIME Suite, and other Authoritative Data Sources (ADS).
- Conduct logistics data analysis in support of Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs (MPF, MCPP-N, MCPP-PHIL), ensuring equipment and supply planning aligns with HQMC Prepositioning Objectives (POs).
- Maintain continuity of inventory control systems, ensuring accuracy of TAMCN listings, SL-3 associations, COMSEC/CMS material plans, and MSE/Mission Set allocations.
- Support the development and reconciliation of squadron- and ship-level plans, including container and pallet estimates, load plans, and sustainment postings into MCPIC.
- Conduct audits, reconcile asset records, and provide reporting to BICmd leadership and Fleet Marine Forces.
- Provide customer support, both internal and external, on logistics, supply matters, and data integrity issues.
- Assist in developing and maintaining logistics documentation, tailoring conference minutes, plan change requests, and supporting sustainment documentation.
- Support Arrival & Assembly (A&A) operations, backload, and regeneration by ensuring inventory accountability, documentation accuracy, and logistics data readiness.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics systems, supply chain operations, or data management.
Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- BA: 2–5 years of experience
- HS Diploma: 6–9 years of experience.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with MCPIC, ICODES, GCSS-MC, and TFSMS.
- Prior USMC logistics or supply MOS experience (e.g., 3043, 3051, 0431) or equivalent DoD logistics background.
- Experience with inventory reconciliation, data quality assurance, and logistics reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple planning and analysis tasks.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot logistics and systems issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a joint contractor-government team.
