This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in organized systems, precise material handling, and supporting high‐quality engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, verify against purchase orders, packing slips, and engineering documentation
- Inspect parts and assemblies for damage, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging materials for domestic and international shipping
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material‐handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks while following OSHA and company safety standards
- Use barcode scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/ERP) to track inventory movements and material transactions
- Maintain organized storage locations, stock shelves, and clearly labeled part locations
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies affecting production or engineering schedules
- Perform basic math related to quantities, weights, dimensions, and freight requirements
- Package components according to technical, customer, and carrier requirements to prevent damage
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and audit‐ready at all times
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Forklift and pallet jack experience required (certification )
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and work in a fast‐paced, structured environment
- Solid basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Knowledge of proper packaging and material protection standards
- Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Proficiency using WMS/ERP systems and handheld scanners
- Experience working with engineered parts, production materials, or industrial components is a plus
- Exposure to automated equipment
