We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Plano, Texas on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will oversee the shipping, receiving, and inventory management of parts to ensure timely deliveries and accurate record-keeping. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing industry through efficient logistics and coordination.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring all items are accurately verified against accompanying documentation.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by adhering to packaging standards and shipping guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records, logging all incoming and outgoing parts in the system.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address and resolve any discrepancies in shipments.
• Keep the storage area organized and clean, ensuring parts are stored systematically for easy access.
• Participate in routine inventory counts and audits to ensure data accuracy and proper stock levels.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in shipping and receiving parts is .
• Proficiency in basic computer operations for inventory management and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and logistics-related software is advantageous.
