About Hospitality Purveyors International 

Hospitality Purveyors International (HPI) is the exclusive design and procurement arm for all Sandals and Beaches Resorts International properties which are wholly-owned and managed resorts.

About the Position:

The core functions and responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator is to support operations in all logistics functions related to product deliveries, planning, scheduling, ordering, transportation, tracking and reporting.

Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:

· Knowledge in transportation regulations, customs clearance requirements and Incoterms; i.e., transport, cost, and liability.

· Knowledge of document management procedures and standards.

· Ability to follow procedures and processes.

· Strong analytical abilities and sharp attention to detail.

· Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to collaborate with management, co-workers, and external parties.

· Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis.

· Ability to work in a fast fast-paced environment continually assessing priorities.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Prepare Bill of Lading/Shipping Instruction and submit to Steamship lines.

· Request Bookings.

· Coordinate the spotting and pick-up of containers with HPI warehouse and suppliers (Hotel Supplies and Food & Beverage).

· Maintain files for shipping documents.

· Coordinate LCL and Airfreight Shipments.

· Review certificates for (Live Plants, Food & Beverage) and prepare FedEx pack.

· Match HPI and vendor invoices for accuracy.

· Submit Pre/Post (BOL, Invoices, Caricom) for all resorts to respective property personnel.

· Prepare documentation for custom clearance.

· Coordinate with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to pick up merchandise from vendors to deliver to the HPI warehouse.

· Submit Shippers Export Declaration (SED).

· Coordinate Direct Shipments.

· Maintain Container Analysis Report HPI/Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).

Other Key Priorities:

· Knowledge in Oracle, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS).

· Keep inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.

· Assist with training of newly employed workers.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Support and execute any additional tasks, duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager related to the policies and procedures in the Logistics Department.
