Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the shipping and inventory process for finished tube products and plays a key role in day-to-day logistics operations. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with production and warehouse teams to help ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely shipments, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role includes daily trips to our outside pipe yard for inventory-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating shipping activities for finished tube products, including communication with domestic and export dispatchers.
- Support the timely loading and shipment of finished goods in coordination with production and warehouse teams.
- Accurately enter invoices and inventory data into the company’s system, ensuring information is complete and correct.
- Log incoming raw materials upon receipt and assist with tracking material usage against production needs.
- Help maintain inventory records, perform routine inventory counts, and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports related to inventory levels, material usage, and invoicing.
- Perform routine data checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Communicate with internal teams including production, purchasing, quality, and finance to help resolve data or inventory discrepancies.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for customers and vendors, responding to basic inquiries and escalating issues when needed.
- Support inspection, packaging, labeling, and documentation of finished products according to customer requirements.
- Maintain shipping and inventory records and assist with tracking basic shipping performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree
- 0–2 years of experience in logistics, inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or administrative support (training provided)
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn inventory and logistics systems
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with multiple teams
- Ability to pass a federal background check as part of the hiring process
- Mandarin skills are a plus
