Job Title: Logistics Coordinator\n Salary: £28,000 - £30,000\n Location: Cambridge\n Hours: 40 hours per week (9:00am-5:30pm)\n\nMy client is a fast-paced courier and logistics provider, specialising in domestic, international, and same-day delivery services. The company is focused on delivering reliable, time-sensitive solutions while maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.\n\nThe Role:\n\nWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join a dynamic team, supporting domestic, international, and same-day delivery operations. This role involves coordinating shipments, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics processes.
You will play a key part in maintaining service excellence, resolving issues, and supporting both internal teams and external clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAnswer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service\nProcess domestic and international shipments using carrier software, including weighing\nconsignments, printing labels, and issuing tracking details\nAssist with quoting customer enquiries\nManage and respond to enquiries via email, live chat, and telephone\nTake bookings and liaise with same-day controllers\nAllocate jobs to drivers and third-party suppliers\nProcess jobs and proof of deliveries using internal systems\nMonitor UK overnight and international shipments, resolving any issues that arise\nCheck carrier invoices, driver PODs, and complete general administrative duties\nLiaise with storage clients and provide support within the warehouse when required\nUtilise Microsoft Office for daily tasks\nIdentify opportunities to upsell services to customers \n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\nPrevious experience in a customer service or logistics environment is advantageous\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment\nGood organisational and problem-solving abilities\nIT literate, including Microsoft Office\nCustomer-focused with a proactive approach\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team \n\nPackage & Benefits:\n\n£28,000 - £30,000 with bonus opportunities\n29 days holiday including bank holidays\nCompany iPhone for business and personal use (within company policy)\nPension scheme\nFull training providedStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex, operating across the United Kingdom.
