Logistics Coordinator in Buffalo

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power , infrastructure, and industrial systems. We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers.   • Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments (domestic & international)
  • Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or issues
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems
  • Assist with freight quoting, cost tracking, and invoice verification
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics.
  • Experience with domestic and/or international shipping
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and Incoterms
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Skills

  • Knowledge of import/export compliance
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
