We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team and manage the end-to-end logistics for our door and window business. In this fully remote position, you will oversee inbound shipments of raw materials and components from domestic and international suppliers, as well as outbound shipments of finished products from our Atlanta distribution center to customers nationwide. You will serve as the key point of contact for customers on all delivery, scheduling, and logistical matters, ensuring smooth operations, on-time performance, and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage inbound shipments of door and window materials from various domestic and international suppliers, including booking transportation, tracking shipments, and resolving any delays or issues.

- Oversee outbound shipments of completed products from the Atlanta distribution center to customers across the country, selecting carriers, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, shipping status, logistical details, and any updates or changes.

- Monitor shipment progress in real-time using tracking systems, proactively communicate ETAs, and address any disruptions to minimize impact on customers and operations.

- Collaborate with suppliers, freight carriers, customs brokers (for international shipments), and internal teams (such as warehouse, sales, and procurement) to ensure seamless coordination.

- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, customs paperwork, and proof of delivery.

- Track and report on key logistics metrics, including on-time delivery rates, freight costs, and any variances, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

- Resolve logistics-related issues, such as damaged shipments, discrepancies, or delays, and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, inventory movements, and customer communications in relevant systems.

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field (experience with building materials, construction products, or similar industries is a plus).

- Proven experience managing both inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international freight.

- Strong understanding of logistics processes, carrier operations, and shipping regulations.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and carriers.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

- Proficiency with logistics software, tracking tools, ERP systems, or Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
