Furniture Enterprises of Alaska’s Administration Team provides excellent support company wide. The position of Logistics Coordinator is part of that highly motivated team responsible for ensuring accurate, cost efficient, and timely handling of freight domestically and internationally for all our stores.
This position is fully in-person and must be performed on site in Anchorage, Alaska.

Key Responsibilities:
- Freight Coordination: Manage domestic and international freight logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to secure the best shipment methods and pricing.
- Consolidation Management: Identify and work with consolidators to ensure shipments are handled appropriately and efficiently.
- Contract Oversight: Handle shipping contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
- Financial Accuracy: Process all freight invoices, credits and vendor chargebacks, ensuring they are accurate and applied correctly.
- Receiving Procedures: Knowledgeable of receiving processes.
- Reconciliation: Audit trailers, merchandise amounts, and deliveries to ensure records are balanced.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Experience in freight coordination (domestic and international).
- Knowledge of vendor management and contract handling.
- Familiarity with consolidators and shipping best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Detail oriented and proactive.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
